The Marlow Day Nursery – childcare at its best…
The Marlow Day Nursery was opened over ten years ago and is based in a great purpose built building with low level windows for the children, light and airy rooms, wheelchair access, a large secure outside play area with lots of shaded areas.  We have recently undergone an extensive refurbishment of our outdoor area and are following this with in house staff training. All of this would be nothing without our wonderful staff!  90% of whom are qualified with a great mix of mature experience and youthful outlook. We are very proud that we don't suffer from a large turnover of staff, indeed our 20 staff have achieved over 100 years between them. This doesn't mean that we are in any way complacent about progress.  Our fantastic team is led by one of the county's first Early Years Professionals, and we are together working hard to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage in order that all children at the Marlow Day Nursery reach their full potential.
Quality Assurance We completed the Buckinghamshire Quality Assurance scheme in 2007. This is a two to three year process where we are constantly assessed on all aspects of the care we provide.  It includes five modules: the welcome, team working, indoor and outside activities, including everyone’s needs and management.
Investor in People The nursery has been awarded the prestigious Investor in People award.  This demonstrates that we set out a clear vision for the direction of the nursery and every member of staff understands why their expertise supports and contributes to overall success.
